EDITORIAL REPORTS PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definite Article Media Limited (Publisher) a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10956503, and with its registered office at I 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom, EC1A 2BN and VAT number GB 283326400;
1. Definitions
1.1. For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
1.1.1. The “Report” means the document produced by the Publisher, together with all associated text, data, analysis, tables, charts, graphics, images, and any accompanying materials provided by Definite Article Media, whether delivered in physical, digital, or any other form.
1.1.2. The “Client” means the purchasing organisation or individual to whom the Report is supplied under these Terms & Conditions, and includes its officers and employees authorised to use the Report for internal business purposes only.
2. Ownership and Intellectual Property
2.1. The Report and all related materials are the property the Publisher and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. All rights are reserved.
3. Licence to Use
3.1. The Client is granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Report for internal business purposes only. This licence does not permit reproduction, republication, distribution, or resale of the Report in whole or in part.
4. Restrictions on Use
4.1. The Report, whether in digital or printed form, may not be copied, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without prior written permission from the Publisher.
4.2. Reproduction or distribution to third parties (including by email, intranet, or other electronic means) is strictly prohibited.
4.3. The Client may not create derivative works based on the Report without written consent.
5. Quotation and Attribution
5.1. Short extracts from the Report may be quoted for legitimate business purposes, provided they are accurate, reasonable in length, and do not misrepresent the findings.
5.2. Any quotation must include clear attribution to Definite Article Media, Year – Report Title.
5.3. Quotation of substantial parts of the Report, or use that undermines its commercial value, is prohibited without prior written permission.
6. Confidentiality
6.1. The Client agrees to treat the Report as confidential and to take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.
7. Disclaimer
7.1. The information contained in the Report is provided for general informational purposes only. The Publisher makes no warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and accepts no liability for reliance on its contents.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert jurisdiction, e.g., England & Wales], and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
