Funds Europe Media Limited (“the Publisher”) accepts publication of advertisements on the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms“). ­­

These Terms apply to advertisements and content campaigns (print, digital, video, etc) placed in Funds Europe, Funds Global MENA, Funds Global Asia, FundsTech and supplements and special reports published in association with these titles, advertisements on, and, and to advertisements inserted in email broadcasts. The Publisher’s audience is (by definition) a professional audience”

By placing an order, the Advertiser (“the Advertiser”), which is the person placing the order for the advertisement whether they are the advertiser of the product or service referred to in the advertisement or the advertising agency or media buyer for such advertiser, accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms in full.

Placing an order Receipt of the Advertiser’s order and the Publisher’s acknowledgement and acceptance of that order shall constitute a binding contact between the Advertiser and the Publisher.

Content and Delivery of Advertisements Materials for an advertisement must be delivered by the Advertiser no later than the deadline specified by the Publisher and in strict accordance with the print or website specifications supplied by the Publisher. The Advertiser guarantees to the Publisher that:

  1. Information supplied in connection with the advertisement is accurate, complete, true and not misleading;
  2. It has obtained the consent of any living person whose name or image (in whole or in part) is contained in any advertisement;
  3. The advertisements are legal, decent, honest and truthful, are not contrary to the provisions of any applicable law, regulation or code of practice, are not libellous or obscene and do not infringe the rights of any person (including any person’s intellectual property rights);
  4. The advertisement will not be prejudicial to the image or reputation of the Publisher and its publications;
  5. All advertisements submitted for publication online will be free of any viruses and no advertisement will cause an adverse effect on the operation of websites;

Where the Advertiser is an advertising agency or media buyer, the Advertiser guarantees that it is authorised by the advertiser of a product or service to place the advertisement with the Publisher and the Advertiser will compensate the Publisher for any claim made by such advertiser against the Publisher.

Data Protection the Publisher is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration Z1206574 (certificate available on request). All emails sent from The Publisher on behalf of a 3rd party will include the following:

  • why did I get this?
  • unsubscribe from this list
  • update subscription preferences: Funds Europe, 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF

GDPR policy effective date: April 1, 2018 – The Publisher knows that people care how their information is used and shared and we appreciate the trust they put in us to do that carefully and sensibly. Payment: Full payment of the contract, plus VAT where applicable, is due within 30 days of the date of invoice, which will be submitted on publication of the advertisement. Interest at 6% per month calculated from the invoice date will be charged on overdue accounts.

Payment shall be made by electronic transfer to the destination account specified on the invoice. When agreed to, the Advertiser can pay the invoice via credit card. The Publisher will provide the Advertiser and payment link.

Cancellation policy Cancellations of “single” or “series advertisements”:  no cancellation of any advertisement can be made within 90 days of publication. Before this period, a cancellation can be made within 14 days of the date of the confirmation by email, quotation or other written record of the confirmation of the advertisement, provided that such cancellation is made in writing or electronically. Any costs already incurred by the Publisher in connection with the advertisement will be payable by the Advertiser. Cancellation after 14 days of the confirmation, quotation or other written record of the advertisement, but more than 90 days before the publication date, may be accepted by the Publisher in its absolute discretion upon the Advertiser paying not less than fifty percent (50%) of the full cost of the advertisement.

A “series advertisement” is a booking for one or more insertions and confirmed as such in one confirmation, email or other written document, where the advertisement is placed for the same principal or members of the same group of companies and the Advertiser receives the benefit of improved terms whether by price or other advantage. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a “series advertisement” will be treated as though it is one advertisement with a publication date of the first date an insertion under the confirmation is due to appear. Each booking under a “series” advertisement is deemed to be a separate advertisement for the purpose of invoicing and will be invoiced at date of publication and is payable in accordance with the terms contained herein In calculating any cancellation fee that the Publisher is in its absolute discretion prepared to accept, any beneficial rate for the advertising will be replaced by the full rate card price for any advertisement which will be used in calculating the amount that the Publisher in its absolute discretion may accept.

Governing law: This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the English law. Jurisdiction: Each Party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
